The Cycling Adventure of a Lifetime!
You get serious bragging rights of cycling across Alabama! And, your sacrifice will result in several families receiving vital home repairs. It’s a win, win!
Cycle of Service is a main fundraising event for Alabama Rural Ministry. It is an intense, fun, 3 day bike ride that helps families with low income receive vital repairs and works to end substandard housing in rural Alabama. This is especially important in light of recent tornadoes that hit Lee County where ARM’s office is located.
The funds gained from cyclists’ sponsors provide home repair assistance to families in Lee, Macon, and Sumter counties making homes warm, safe, and dry through volunteers. It also helps ARM host children’s summer camps with a goal to help kids break cycles of generational poverty.
Do you have to ride all three days? No, there is a one day century on Saturday and a 1/2 ride option on Sunday.
.There is even an option for cycling on a stationary bike, spin bike, or in your community. There really is something for everyone!
