We are so grateful to all those who gave on Dec. 2nd for #Giving Tuesday. Through your generosity, we were able to raise $10,995. Part of that was a match of $3250 by the United Methodist Advance. The Advance matched up to the first 1 Million given. So for those who programmed their gift to drop as close to midnight on December 2nd as you could, thanks!!!! There are several hundreds of projects through the Advance and several are international. Your gift is already at work as we are currently working with Ms. Woods in Shorter, Alabama. She is receiving new kitchen flooring, cabinets, an HVAC unit to reduce her utility costs and more as we make her home cozy, safe, dry, and beautiful! She has been singing God’s praises ever since we started! Shortly after Christmas we will host a group from Centreville, Alabama serving with Ms. Woods and Ms. Scott. In our next online newsletter, we will keep you posted of our several endeavors and how Christ’s love is breaking forth . Thank you again for helping us reach our year end goal of $30,000!
